Keeping your wardrobe up to date is easy if you start by sorting through all your unwanted clothing and donate it to charities.
I’m always looking for people to give my daughter’s outgrown clothes to. Every 2 months or so my daughter and I sort through her clothes and make one pile for charities, and another pile for the consignment store.

Our routine, lifestyle, even the most important decisions we make are somewhat time related. Time is indeed our life.
Time is an infinite resource that we can neither save nor find a substitute to. It is a resource that both the rich and poor were born with. All of us are given an equal amount of it every day. It is up to us how we use it.
Our success or failure depends on how we spend it. Although we know that we should not waste time, we sometimes find ourselves running out of it and thus pay the consequences. When it has passed, we can never go back.

Organization can be a real challenge for the ADD individual. Here are some simple tips that can help:
1.Organize for reasons that matter to you. Don’t try to adopt someone else’s organizing values. If being “tidy” or “organized” has negative connotations for you (tedious, boring, uptight, perfectionist), motivate yourself by organizing according to your own values.
2.Determine the goal. First decide on the specific task you want to tackle. Then prioritize. When things get busy, the adult ADD person often loses perspective. PS: Transitions can be difficult, and mini-breaks can help ease the transition.

Checklists are great for regular cleaning chores but eliminating clutter will make the real difference. Here are some tips that will help you to eliminate and organize before you clean.
Give away all clothing that you have not worn for one year. Do not keep anything because you will grow up to it or down to it. Get rid of that great prom dress from 1970. No one will ever use it again, even under threat of death.
Do not save magazines or newspapers. That great looking recipe should be cut out and put in a file labeled Recipes To Try. The same for craft projects, beauty tips or travel ideas.

Proper Christmas ornament storage means you’ll still have those holiday ornaments next year–in one piece. Plus by packing them away efficiently each year, your holiday ornament storage will take less space in your home. Another benefit is you’ll be able to easily find your holiday decorations and ornaments each season. Here are several tips for Christmas ornament storage that specifically relate to undecorating your Christmas tree.
KEEP IT TOGETHER
It’s helpful to keep all of your Christmas tree ornaments and decorations in their own ornament storage boxes. That means keep them in a separate decorations or ornament storage box from other interior or exterior Christmas ornaments and decor.

One of the hardest things for most individuals working from home is to stay focused. One of the best ways to stay focused is organization. In addition, being organized will help your time management skills. The two are very much intertwined.
Planning out your day is very important. What you will do in the morning, afternoon/and or evening, depending on what hours you work is paramount.
Have a trigger that starts your day. For example, my trigger is I finish my morning walk. Once this is done, I make a cup of Java and to the office I go.

An appointment is simply a mutual agreement to meet with someone at a specific time.
You set appointments with doctors, dentists, lawyers, accountants, contractors and hair stylists, just to name a few. Usually, appointments that are set actually take place. Even when you do have to cancel an appointment, you usually re-schedule it and place the date and time on your calendar.
There’s one person, though, that you might frequently forget to set up an appointment with.
That person is YOU.

“If you control your time, you control your life” - Alan Lakein (1973)
Time is Money. Time is a precious commodity and everyone gets an equal share, but we use it differently. Even different societies have different attitudes towards times.
One thing about time is that it is elusive; it cannot be changed, and once it is gone, it is gone forever. According to a saying, ‘Time and tide wait for no one’. Our situation and needs influence our time orientation, but our time orientation (and needs) can be changed and that should lead to a more successful life.

Are you overwhelmed by clutter wherever you turn? Here are 5 practically painless steps to a clean slate.
1. Begin by identifying the areas which are most impacting your ability to function effectively. Then place 2 cartons at each offending “station,” labeled TOSS & SAVE.
2. Each time you walk by, place one item in each - no excuses, one item in each carton.
3. When you can no longer place one item in each box, the remainder either gets disposed of all at once or saved and rearranged.

Do you dream of a playroom that you can walk through and the kids can easily keep neat? If you are ready to turn down the volume and keep toys & art supplies from turning into clutter, here are 9 neat ideas to get you started.
- Sort Everything. Collect everything in one place. Group items “like with like” such as Dolls, Purses, Train sets, Small Toys, Toys that Require Supervision, etc. Assess how much you have before thinking about the storage solutions. As you sort, set aside a container for toys with missing items. As you sort and find the missing pieces, put them in the container too. When you have all the pieces, you can give the complete toy, game or art kit a permanent home.
